Mobile phones can not withstand cold temperatures

Modern mobile phones do not work at low temperature. Some models will stop working when the temperature falls down to zero, because the battery is too weak, "said Swedish experts.

They believe that the producers did not provide enough information about the problem and it is relevant and important knowledge, especially to consumers in countries with damp and cold, such as in Scandinavia.

The instructions for phones from Nokia of Finland says that the phones must be handled at temperatures between 15 and 25 plus degrees.

Competitors LG, Siemens and Sony Ericsson say that their phones can withstand temperatures from minus 10 to plus 55 degrees. Apple writes in the manual for its iPhone that it should not be used at temperatures below 0 or above 35 degrees.

The new and popular mobile phones with pressure-sensitive screens instead of buttons, is particularly temperature sensitive.

Nokia's head of customer services in Sweden, Anders Larsson says that its phones are likely to operate in temperatures below 15 degrees. But he admits that if it is very cold, then individual functions set out, for example, you may notice that the screen is slow.
