New top model from Nokia

Nokia N97 is a good bid for a mobile computer, the specifications are impressive. With a touchscreen and up to 48 GB of storage, Nokia hopes to be able to compete with Appels iPhone.

"The computer has evolved from desktop to laptop, and now we have it in our pocket.", Says Jonas Geust, who is president of Nokia.

The Nokia N97 has a built-in 32GB memory, which can be extended to the entire 48 GB - larger than many Netbooks. The phone has QWERTY keyboard, which can be shot out, and a large, wide touch screen with a resolution of 640x360 pixels.

Nokia hopes that you will fill up your phone with music, films, photos and games, because they say they have worked to ensure that the N97's battery can handle the task, and promise that the phone can run up to 37 hours of music and 4.5 hours of video.

The phone contains a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and dual LED flash, GPS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, stereo Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The phone will be available in stores during the first half of 2009, and will cost around. 800 dollars.
